There are four golf courses within 40 minutes drive and several others if you are prepared to travel a little further afield. The four closer ones are: Golf da la Porcelaine, Limoges: (40 mins) A top quality and long established members club with 18 holes. 6042 metres long, par 72. The course sits on beautiful undulating parkland. Green fees are 45 euros weekday and 50 euros weekend. Competitions open to non-members. Handicap certificates may be requested. Restaurant facility. Golf Municipal de Limoges: (30 mins) An 18 hole parkland course in the centre of Limoges. 6222 metres, par 72. Always nice condition and based near the city centre so it's good for those seeking night life after golf. Green fees 30 euros per day in high season. Driving range and practice facilities. Very affordable and good greens! Golf de St. Junien: (30 mins) 18th century manor house in 80 hectares with 18 hole golf course built in 1996 on fine undulating parkland with several water hazards. Green fees 32 euros per weekday, 35 euros at weekends. 5516 metres long, par 72. Excellent value for the quality of the set up and very uncrowded. Restaurant facility. Golf International de la Preze: (25 mins) a resort course established in 1990 with a challenging 18 hole course. 5974 metres, par 72. Lots of water and good elevations. Another 9 holes short course and driving range available. Very friendly reception and open competitions every Sunday from April to November. Roll-ups on Tuesday and Thursday mornings. Green fees 27 euros weekdays, 34 euros weekends. Restaurant facility.
